My name is Jane McKenna, co-founder of JaneyMac.ie.

My background is in fashion design, having previously specialised in bridal wear. However, I’ve long since swapped the fashion industry for the classroom and have been working as a secondary school Art & Design Teacher for a number of years.

When it came to our own wedding, I was able to combine my backgrounds as a fashion designer and art teacher to design and make loads of my own wedding items; everything from our invitations to my wedding dress.

As much as I loved planning and personalising our wedding, it also made me realise how stressful planning a wedding can be and how much work can be involved.

This is what prompted me to start JaneyMac.ie

My Ambition

My ambition is to use JaneyMac.ie to share my wedding design ideas with as many couples as possible. I’ve included some blogs and have also launched The Janey Mac Shop which includes everything from jewellery to accessories along with my own range of wedding invitations. I also have some availability to create bespoke items to suit your style and theme.

I also want to make the entire planning process as easy as possible for as many couples as possible. This is where our 3 free, easy-to-use planning tools. planning tools comes in.

Our Planning Tools

Budget Calculator helps you understand your budget and find out how much your wedding will cost. This calculator will also help you track your savings and spending as you go.

Task Tracker helps you keep on top of what needs to be done to plan your wedding. It helps you keep track of your progress and add new tasks as you go.

Guest List Manager will help you plan your invite list. Once you post your invitations, you will be able to keep on top of your responses and track final numbers for your venue.
